Film - Make Up Artist

Make Up Artists work closely with the Actors, Hairdressers and costume departments as well as the Directors and extras. Your job is to plan, prepare and design the actors (and extras) make up to fit the theme and continuity of the film and separate scenes within said film, including wounds, ageing, etc.

Some Make Up Artists will work independently with actors and prepare their make up by the actor's personal choice when there is no production requirement.
You will also need to make sure the actors you're working on are clear from any allergies from the equipment you use.
